4K1A label on my sons jacket
Posted on February 17th, 2009 1 commentA while back my son and I was on our way to the theater when I noticed something with the label on his coat. He’d had this coat for quite some time and it was his favorite for a couple of months. He refused to wear anything else for reasons unknown. Thats just the way 2 year old kids are, I guess.
I never really read more than the heading. Usually it’s advertisting anyway so I never bothered. Well this day something caught my attention. It looked like a call sign. A familiar call sign, and I can’t believe I never noticed it before.
The label on my sons jacket. Never seen anything like it before.

New QSL cards
Posted on April 25th, 2008 No commentsSince I always operate from either our own station LA8W or from somewhere else, I never needed my own cards. But since I’ve started to do some QRP’ing, I decided to print some cards. I chose to print my cards with UX5UO. He has the best prices I could find on the net, and as far as I know the quality is very good.
I made two designs, well I design one of them and Gennady UX5UO designed the other one after I sent him a sample.
This is how they look:
