The most severe storm in many years hit the SW coast of Norway during the CQ WW DX CW weekend this year. It caused a power outage starting Sunday morning and lasted for so many hours that we decided to terminate our effort on Sunday afternoon, and we returned to our homes on Sunday in stead of Monday as planned. The roaring waves were violent with lots of damages along the coastline, and there were threes across the roads as we drove home. We were lucky not to experience any significant problems with our antennas. Nevertheless, as we went outside for 10 minutes to secure one antenna with additional guy ropes, we could feel the salt spary when licking our lips. This is what makes our QTH work so well, but it is also what makes challenges to our antenna maintenance. Thanks to all of you calling LN9Z on 80m and thanks to those patient contesters answering LA9Z on 40m.
