Jan, LB1G, operated LN9Z in the SOAB HP Assisted category.  Jan worked 3070 QSOs and achieved a claimed score of 2,364,692  pts.

Roy used his own callsing, LA5KO, and worked 300 QSOs in 30 zones and 95 countries in the SOSB 7 MHz HP Assisted category.

Jan is relatively happy with the LN9Z result, taking into account that he did not have antennas for 160m and 10m.  Also, due to strong winds during the weekend, the crank-up tower with the rotary 20m beam and the fixed 15m beam was left in the lowered position.  The reduced performance of the low antennas was obvious.

This was Roy's first attempt to work a CW contest from Lista.  Having worked only 2500 CW QSOs totally since receiving his ham license in 1970, Roy's CW capabilities leave room for some improvements Embarassed  Also, Roy could work 40m only when Jan worked other bands, - LN9Z had first priority.  Nevertheless, Roy was very happy with the mult count and he enjoyed the CW contest very much.

Both entries claim more points than the old LA records.
