LN9Z worked 4305 QSOs and achieved a claimed score of 4,311,621 pts in the MOST category with only LB1G/Jan and LA5KO/Roy as operators.  Take a look at the Scores 2010 to se the details.

It was planned to have three operators, but due to illness we ended up with only two.  That showed to be pretty tough, - both of us merely had a 2 hour nap on the second night, giving us 46 hours of operation each and four hours without a Mult station (01-05z).

With the station still beeing very limited w.r.t. antennas and equipment, and traditionally entering contests in SOSB categories, we had decided to enter the toughest category of all this year.  The main reasons were to get more experience, the arrival of sunspots and the hope of getting new high band antennas up in the air.

Based on the positive experience with the Optibeam OB5-20 during the previous year, we had ordered similar antennas for 15m and 10m, the Optibeam OB5-15 and Optibeam OB5-10.  The antennas arrived just before the contest, and we were hoping to get both antennas up in a preliminary setup for the contest.  Unfortunately business committments made it impossible to travel to the station untill Thursday evening, so we did not have time to put up more than the 15m beam.  It was merely mounted on one corner of the triangular 20m tower at a hight of 12m, - so still in a quite limited configuration.
In any case we could have some fun on 15m as well, even if the antenna could not be pointed towards Latin and South America, Africa and Europe.
Still we have no antenna on 160m after the Titanex finally wrecked just before the CQ WPX SSB last year.  And on 10m we have to use the 80m Inverted-L.
So aiming for an LA record or winning our class was not realistic objectives for us this time.  The objectives were to gain more experience, to have fun and to log as many QSOs as possible.
