After a breakdown during the ARRL 160m Contest, the Low Band antennas are now up and running again.
On Saturday, December 9th, LA5KO and LA9HW fixed the 160 and 80 meter inverted L's. Both antennas perform excellent. Both antennas are 1/4-wave inverted L's. The antennas were originally Titanex verticals that showed not to be able to handle the wind at the QTH, and thus converted into inverted L's. The vertical part of the 160m antenna is 18 meter, and the vertical part of the 80 meter antenna is 15 meter.
